Winter Storage

Old Man Winter is no match for Tonka Bay Marina, especially when you consider we have modern, state-of-the-art equipment and more secure storage than anyone in the region. We have more than 250 storage units at our Tonka Bay facility, with an additional 140,000 square feet of space at our off-site Delano location. And if you store your boat outside, we can shrink-wrap it for you.

As a benefit of choosing Tonka Bay Marina, all customers receive a 20 cent per gallon gas discount all summer at our full service gas dock.

Winterization

Proper winterization requires diligence and expertise — the kind you'll get at Tonka Bay Marina. As part of your storage contract, we carefully pump out your boat, then run a nontoxic antifreeze through the wet systems for added winter protection. We also winterize your engine, disconnect the battery and conduct a mechanical inspection. And when spring comes back, we'll prep your boat so you can hit the water running.

Repairs

Winter is a great time to do routine repair and maintenance work on your boat. From gelcoating and woodworking to engine and hull repair, you can count on us to get it done during the off- season.
