SOCIAL ACTIVITIES: There's no better place to enjoy an active, year-round social life with kindred spirits who share your love of sailing. We offer a full calendar of organized boat races and fun family events.

CLUBHOUSE: You can entertain family and friends by reserving our fully equipped clubhouse. The four-plus acres of our beautifully landscaped grounds are right near the trail system and downtown Excelsior.

DOCKS: We pride ourselves on our strong, sturdy docks, with 117 deep-water slips for boats up to 42 feet long. Access to water, electric and pump facilities.

SERVICES: We offer ASA-certified sailing lessons, expert boat service and repair, boat sales and rentals, and much more.

Our clubhouse is the ideal spot to host parties, family gatherings and business meetings. Inside there are restroom and shower facilities, a full kitchen and a cozy fireplace for lakestyle living all year long. Outside you can grill dinner, take a walk around the spacious park-like grounds, or simply relax amidst the tranquility of the gardens after an active day of boating.

In partnership with Northern Breezes Sailing School, our boat club offers a convenient way to enjoy sailing without the maintenance, insurance, ownership or slip fees. Just reserve your boat and let the wind fill your sails! A full club membership entitles you to all the privileges of Shorewood Yacht Club, including invitations to social, cruising and boat racing events. Different membership levels are also available.

Service and Storage

Whether you need to retrieve a lost halyard, install new hardware, make cosmetic updates or repair an engine, our on-site service shop and chandlery are staffed by meticulous rigging, mechanical and repair specialists. From woodwork refinishing to gelcoating and painting, we'll take good care of your baby. We also offer year-round boat care, complete with mast-up winter storage and shrink-wrapping services. And with our new 25-ton travel lift, your boat will always get the safe, careful handling you want.
